Many people say that the Peneda-Ger\u00eas National Park begins at the Mezio Gate. It's not an official border, of course, but it's a point where the mountain becomes closer, more organized and more accessible. For families, the curious and nature lovers, it's the simplest way to \u201copen the door\u201d to the mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The road climbs between woods, gentle curves and small places until, suddenly, the scenery opens up onto a wide plateau. There is Porta do Mezio: a group of buildings integrated into the landscape, surrounded by trees, paths, wooden structures, leisure spaces and that pleasant feeling of lighter air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
